NOURISH CANADA
Nourish Canada is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to supporting education, poverty alleviation, and community development in South Africa.
A future where children have access to education, families have the means to meet their basic needs, and rural communities are strong, resilient, and connected.
We work in partnership with Nourish Eco Village in South Africa, our local implementation partner, to co-create opportunities for children, youth, and families living in vulnerable rural communities. By improving access to education, skills training, food security, and sustainable livelihoods, we help communities break the cycle of poverty and build resilience for the future.
Mission
Nourish Canada advances education and relieves poverty for children, youth, and families living in vulnerable rural South African communities by:
Funding educational programs for preschool and school-aged children, from early childhood care to after-school enrichment and environmental learning
- Supporting training and skills development for women and youth to improve employment prospects and create sustainable income-generating opportunities
- Enhancing food security and nutrition through community gardens, feeding programs, and access to healthy meals for children in need
- Strengthening community resilience by improving local capacity, dignity, and opportunities for sustainable futures
Through fundraising and partnerships in Canada, Nourish Canada supports the Nourish Eco Village model, implemented by Nourish South Africa, our trusted on-the-ground charitable partner.

What We Support
Education And Youth Development
From early childhood education to after-school clubs and environmental learning, we ensure children have the tools and opportunities to thrive.
Women's Empowerment and Skills Training
We support women and youth in gaining practical skills, creating small businesses, and finding pathways to economic independence.
Nutrition and Food Security
Through feeding programs and sustainable gardens, we address hunger and malnutrition in rural communities.
