SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

Tourism is a key driver of the Nourish sustainability model, something we encourage active participation in. This allows visitors a chance to experience grassroots authentic cultural tourism, get to see the eco village and make a difference knowing that the funds support livelihoods as well as Nourish. Sustainable tourism is a chance for us to enable local community members to benefit from the tourism industry that is so prevalent in the area. Positive livelihood support and authentic community interaction are two of the key project outcomes.

At Nourish Eco Village, we don’t run a 'volunteer program'.

We welcome curious visitors for applied learning and meaningful cultural exchanges. Experiences are shaped by community priorities—not marketing—so time on site supports real work and local livelihoods. We practice dignity-first tourism: the people who host you feel respected, proud, and better off when you leave.
